How the brief works

It checks the evidence first

Cash balances, receivables, payables, payroll and commitments are checked against their control totals before any figure is used. If they don’t reconcile, the brief stops.

It shows its evidence

Each of the 13 weeks lists what comes in and goes out. Every driver, limitation and recommendation points back to the records and calculations behind it.

It says what it doesn’t know

Uncertain dates are named as limitations, and confidence stays capped until it can be measured. The brief never fills a gap with a guess.

The reading, in plain words

Healthy

Projected cash stays above the management floor across the 13 weeks.

Moderate risk

Cash holds, but comes under pressure against the floor.

Critical

Cash falls below the floor or cannot cover a scheduled payroll.

No reading

Required inputs failed their checks, so the brief issues a notice instead of a forecast.
